Calling all international, comparative, and transnational legal scholars. The Georgetown Journal of International Law is collecting articles for a Special Trade Issue to be published in Volume 57, Issue 3. The Special Trade Issue is part of Volume 57's flagship initiative: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐚𝐰: 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬. Articles should be between 15,000–20,000 words and focus on international trade topics including: the transformation of trade governance and policy; economic security and international trade; the role of developing countries in redefining international trade; industrial policy and the reshaping of globalization; trade and sustainability; digital trade, data, governance, and AI international regulation; and the fragmentation and potential renewal of multilateral institutions. Submissions will be considered on a rolling basis through January 15th, 2026, with selections finalized by January 30th, 2026.
